Danir

Danir

The Danir hail from Denaland, a low-lying country of swamps, fens, and meadows, as well as many islands. Their people have a fierce reputation as great warriors and conquerors. They carved their own kingdom, the Denalogu, out of Northern Ethelland. Their dynastic kings are famous throughout the North. Most Danir dream of being great warriors, and since the soil is so poor for farming in most of their lands, many take to the sea to make a living and find glory and adventure. The name of the Danir is virtually synonymous with “viking” in the minds of some peoples beyond the North.
